An Open-Air Temple
Hello my friends.I had left the ruins of that amazing capital of the Hittite Empire behind. But there was another place just as mysterious waiting for me.After traveling just a few kilometers, I arrived at the Yazilikaya temple.Walking down this paved path isn't just going to a temple. It feels like stepping right into the Hittite era.Every step felt like going back in time to a long ago world. At one time, these two places were closely connected. While Hattusa was the center of the empire's government and military, Yazilikaya was its spiritual center. It's like how Vatican and Rome are connected.Kings and priests probably made the short trip from the busy capital to this peaceful mountain temple often for the most important religious ceremonies.

I can almost feel like I'm walking through history with you, it's fascinating how these ancient sites hold such significance and connection to the past. Your photography skills really transport the reader to that era 📸💚
