Kedarnath
Kedarnath Temple is one of the most famous Hindu temples in India. It is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is located in the Himalayan mountains of Uttarakhand at an altitude of about 3,583 meters. Kedarnath is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas and an important part of the Char Dham pilgrimage.
The temple is believed to have been built by the Pandavas and later renovated by Adi Shankaracharya. It is surrounded by beautiful snow-covered peaks and the Mandakini River flows nearby, making the place spiritually and naturally attractive.
Thousands of pilgrims visit Kedarnath every year to seek blessings and experience peace and devotion. Due to heavy snowfall in winter, the temple remains open only from April/May to October/November.
Kedarnath is not only a religious destination but also a symbol of faith, courage, and the beauty of nature.
