Roland Garros
The internationals of France well known under the name of Roland Garros are currently held in Paris. As I am a big fan of tennis, I had to write a little article about it. During my study break it is a pleasure to watch a few tennis games.
It is a tennis tournament on clay which was created in 1925. It is always happening during end of May and early June (during my exams period each year obviously). It is one of the biggest tournament on clay that brings together the greatest players.
Rafael Nadal is the king of Roland Garros, he won 10 times the tournament and is maybe the big champion of this year? Who knows! He is number one in the ATP ranking at the moment.
As I am from Belgium, I hope that David Goffin will go far in the tournament. He has potential, he is a great player. Number nine at ATP ranking at the moment!
