Are Tesla Model Y Accessories Really Worth It?

in #tesla3 hours ago

When I first got my Tesla Model Y, I wasn’t sure if I really needed any extra accessories. The car already looks great and feels modern. But after using it daily for a while, I started to notice a few small inconveniences.

For example, the interior is very clean and minimal, which I like—but it also means there aren’t many places to organize small items. Things like keys, cards, or cables would often end up scattered. Adding a simple center console organizer actually made a big difference.

Another thing I didn’t think about at first was wheel protection. Parking in tight spaces or near curbs can easily lead to scratches. That’s when rim protectors and wheel covers started to make sense. They’re not expensive, but they help keep the car looking new.

Mud flaps are also something I underestimated. After driving in the rain a few times, I realized how much dirt can build up on the sides of the car. Installing them helped reduce that quite a bit.

While looking into these upgrades, I found a collection of Tesla Model Y accessories here:

There are quite a few practical options designed specifically for the Model Y, so everything fits well and is easy to install.

I also decided to keep a small repair kit in the car. It’s one of those things you hope you never need, but it’s good to have just in case.

In my opinion, accessories aren’t necessary—but they definitely make daily driving easier and more comfortable. If you use your Model Y often, a few small upgrades can go a long way.
