we are so happy to introduce our team for the second phase of #thediarygame, kicking off by August 1st, 2020.

coming together for this project is both exciting and intriguing, we know we need to share ideas and work together to be the standout team, given that we are a team each individual is still working hard independently to build the steem ecosystem. we have taken it upon ourselves to build the steem world personally and also grow as a five-member team.

the team member was announced by @greatness96 who acts as a guild for our @team-1nigeria, the @team-1nigeria has set goals that are strictly in line with the mission of the @steemblog and the steam team: Recruitment, Retention, and rewards.

We want to recruit more people into the contest, as a way of getting the contest more interesting and the steem blockchain more engaging. This will be achieved by visiting people’s blogs under hatch tags other than #thediarygame. This idea was put forward by @jammz100, who wasn't able to engage in the first phase of #thediarygame, simply because he didn't know of the community at that time. To what benefit? you may ask. For the benefit of making the game more compelling, appealing, and competitive for people to bring out their best in writing.

On our recruitment plans, each team member is to work at their own pace but we all have to work hard and make sure we bring more persons to the community each week, not only are we to bring people to the @steemblog community but to also help them find their way around the community so they won't be overwhelmed by the number of things to do here. We understand that signing up a person to steem is much easier than making them stay in the platform. Thus, our goal is to have active steemians, not just plenty of sign-ups.

We hope to open a group on WhatsApp or telegram, where we will be hosting webinars for recruits. The idea is to guide and encourage them to keep steeming. That way, they will not feel left alone, thus discouraged from blogging in here. This idea was put forward by @xcoded247, some members have been in the steem family for a while but they haven't been active given that there was no proper follow up done, we will be ready to provide that assistance for new members coming from us and to others if need be.

@kenglogirl asked us to brainstorm on how to reward new recruits to steem and #thediarygame. @wireless07 pointed out that support from @steemcurator01 is good, but we can do more to grow @team-1nigeria account to be able to give solid vote to great contents by members in particular and the steem world at large. It’s worthy of note that the plan was seconded by @adisa1502 and the entire team members.

Every member of the team has full access to the account login details. This account will be used for weekly updates on the activities of the team members. The activities will cover:

Diary game posts of team members and the best, selected by vote by the team
New recruits and team members that brought them, featuring the links to their introduction posts
Things put in place to ensure retention of the new recruits and how successful it was, including the setbacks and way forward
Efforts in ensuring rewards for team members and new recruits
Training done for new recruits and results.
