Introduction

I wanna start this first entry off by giving a big thank you to my man @cmp2020 for giving me this Steemit account two years ago on my birthday. I have not used it much in between that time but I have now been encouraged by him and my friend @jmor to begin using my account and publishing some quality content for the #thediarygame. I will also introduce many of my interests in this first post that will represent what my account will sort of look like. Enjoy!

My Day

The first thing I did was I woke up at around 8. Normally I would prefer to wake up at 9 or 10 but I was going to leave my house for the beach at 10 so I need to be up earlier and get ready for my day. After I got out of bed I got my Father’s Day gift and walked into my parents room so that I could give it to my dad. I got him a bunch of clothes, a mug, and a funny card for Father’s Day. I then went back into my room and hopped into the shower. Once I was done in the shower I got dressed and got all of my stuff together for the beach. I waited for a little bit for the rest of my family to get ready. Eventually everyone was ready to go and we all got in the car and left.

While I was in the car I listened to music and watched Youtube. I was mostly listening to my favorite band Mötley Crüe. If you don’t know who they are they were one of the biggest if not the biggest hair metal bands of the 1980’s. Some of my favorite songs by them are Kickstart My Heart, Too Young to Fall in Love, Dr.Feelgood, and many more. I also watched some videos about the popular video game called Grand Theft Auto V. This has been my favorite game that I have been playing over the past few weeks and I will post about it on my account.

After being in the car for a few hours, I arrived at Stone Harbor in New Jersey. My family parked really close to the beach which allowed us to get to the beach very quickly and easily. Once we got all our stuff together we found a spot to set up our chairs and umbrella. I had the task of setting up the umbrella which is really cool because all you do dew is use a screw at the bottom of the base to get it in the ground. Then we just chilled for a few minutes until the food we ordered was ready. The place we ordered food from was in town and they make some of the best sandwiches I have ever had. I finished my food before the rest of my family so I went into one of the toy stores nearby and bought the game Spikeball. It is a really fun game to play at the beach that uses a ball and a mini trampoline as the core of the game.

When I got back from the store my family was all done with their lunch so we headed back to the beach. For the remainder of the time we were at the beach I mostly laid down and relaxed on a towel as my upper body and back were very sore from my golf lesson I had the day before. My sister was getting a bit restless and wanted to play Spikeball with me so I agreed to set it up so we could play. It took me a while to figure out how to set up the trampoline but I eventually figured it out and we started playing. The game has similar rules to ping pong and tennis where you have to bounce the ball on to the trampoline to the other team and cant hit it out. There is also a rule of not hitting the rim of the trampoline and no double bounces or double hits. I am quite taller than my sister so I had an easy advantage over her as I could just hit the ball really hard and she wouldn't be able to reach it. I didn't do this too much though as I had more fun having long volleys with my sister. I probably won by the end but we weren't really keeping score. After that we had to pack up and grab dinner in town.

The place my family chose for dinner was this pizzeria called Mack’s. We had never been there before and we were really excited to have the food. The pizza did not disappoint. It had really great pizza that balanced all of the ingredients really well. Once we were finished we walked back to the car and I saw something really cool. There was a Porsche 911 in one of the driveways on the way to the car. Once we got into the car we grabbed some ice cream and drove home. I listened to some more early 2000’s rock on the way home instead of my usual 80’s rock.

Once I got home I played some Grand Theft Auto V with my friends. We were originally gonna do the Diamond Casino Heist to earn a lot of money in game but we decided to do the Humane Labs Heist in order to unlock a cheaper price for the jet fighter the Hydra. The Hydra has VTOL which allows it to take off vertically and fly really fast like a normal jet which makes it a very desirable vehicle in game. I finished up playing with my friends around 10 which is when I facetimed my amazing girlfriend. We were mostly just catching up and talking about how our days went because we had not talked too much that day due to how busy I was. I am excited as I get to spend the week with her next week at her beach house which will be a ton of fun. Eventually I had to go as I had my first early morning swim practice the next day and I needed to go to bed early in order to get up. I got ready for bed and then I fell asleep around 12.
