Hello, amazing community!
I hope you're all having a fantastic day. I wanted to take a moment to share my Saturday experience, which was busy and filled with activities, along with the community spirit that I love. Saturdays here revolve around sports, and this weekend was no exception. Let me recount my day!

An Eventful Day with much Engagements
I kicked off Saturday early, ensuring everything was set before heading to work. As I walked through town, I noticed the vibrant energy all around – the fields were bustling! It felt like a football festival with players enjoying themselves across different parts of the famous Margaret Ekpo Airport field. This large area is a popular spot for friendly matches, and it's always lively on weekends. From kids to adults, everyone was out showing their skills, making it a thrilling part of the weekend.

After watching the games, I continued to the office where a busy day awaited. The team was already preparing meals for the on-call doctors, and I had a role in the kitchen as well. We were making egusi soup with eba, a tasty and filling Nigerian dish, and I needed to supervise to ensure everything turned out well. While they cooked, I also worked on preparing my own meals to store in the freezer since I’ve been experiencing power issues at home, thanks to the chefs who helped out in preparing stew, Afang soup and ekpañg-nkúkwó our delicious meals prepared in my locality which were portioned into small bowels and stored in the freezer.

When the doctors arrived for their meal, everything was ready. I oversaw the distribution to ensure everyone received their portion. It was a bit hectic and draining, but that’s part of the charm. By the end, the doctors were happy, and we were all quite worn out from the long hours.

Once we finished up, we finally closed the office and headed home for some much-needed rest.
It was a busy Saturday, but filled with fulfilling activities. Sports, meal preparation, and a strong sense of community – what more could I ask for?
See you in my Next post 🙏
