Hi Steem family, it’s @BLESSEDI here. Today is 2nd July, 2026 — my second day on Steemit. I want to take you through how I spent my day. It was a mix of hard work, small struggles, and the simple joy of putting food on the table. In Africa, we say “no food for a lazy man” — and today proved it again

Morning: Starting with Responsibility
I woke up early this morning with one thing on my mind: my grasscutter. I rushed out to feed them first before anything else. Taking care of animals teaches you discipline. After that, I cleaned my environment — sweeping, packing, and making sure everywhere around me was tidy. A clean space really gives you peace of mind.

Mid-Morning: The Market Run
By the time I was done, I realized I was completely out of foodstuff at home. No rice, no garri, nothing. So I had to go to the market. The sun was already hot, and I left the house on an empty stomach. Big mistake By the time I got back, my body was weak and tired.

Afternoon: Food First, Then Cooking
When I got home, I couldn’t even stand to cook immediately. I had to soak some garri and drink it just to get strength back. That cold garri hit different when you’re hungry! After I felt a little better, I went to the kitchen and prepared okra soup with wheat swallow. The smell alone chased my tiredness away.

Evening: Rest and Reflection
I had the same meal for lunch and dinner because, honestly, after that stress, I wasn’t about to cook twice. It was tasty, filling, and it reminded me that even on tough days, food is a blessing.

Conclusion
Today taught me again that life is about balance — work, hustle, and then taking care of yourself. I may have been tired, but I ended the day with a full stomach and a clean compound. That’s a win for me.

Thank you for reading my day. I’ll keep showing you my journey, one day at a time.

Good night fams ❤️
