The Diary Game: My thoughts on kindness (3:12:2025)

Dear Steemians I salute you all. Hope you are having a great day. Happy blessed new month.

Sincerely, It's good to be kind

I want to share with you my experience on an act of kindness unconciously done, which yield an unexpectable reward to which posterity remembered me for the good done.

A heart of kindness is a heart of gold. Kindness builds happiness and joy. Kindness is not merely a moral luxury or a “nice-to-have” trait, it is a fundamental requirement for individual and collective human flourishing.

Children who grow up in environments lacking kindness (abuse, neglect, or even cold/indifferent parenting) show impaired prefrontal cortex development, poor empathy circuits (mirror neuron system), and lifelong difficulties with trust and emotional regulation.
A society that does not teach and model kindness to its children is programming future generations for psychopathology and social conflict.

Kindness is not an optional extra, like learning guitar or eating organic kale. It is as necessary to human beings as language, pair-bonding, or tool use. A human who lacks the capacity for genuine kindness is, in a profound sense, developmentally damaged or spiritually malformed—much like a bird that cannot fly or a fish that cannot swim. We can survive for a while without it (especially in modern atomized societies cushioned by technology and institutions), but we cannot thrive, and societies that tolerate widespread unkindness eventually disintegrate from within.

In the strongest theoretical sense: to be fully human is to be capable of kindness, and to live without practicing it is to live a diminished, precarious, and ultimately self-destructive form of life.

Sustainable cooperation—the foundation of civilization—requires kindness as the default setting. Be kind to all.

Thank you

Wow... This is really a good lesson. A little kindness you show to someone can in one-way or the other bring back good returns. Keep the good work of showing kindness. God bless you.
