The diary game: End of the term \graduation party in our school[25/7/2025]
Greetings steemians from my corner and happy new month to you all. It has really been hectic for me throughout the past few weeks, I've been wanting to share this memorable day with you steemians, and finally I've gotten the chance to do it, so with much a do lets dive down to it!.
I didn't get enough sleep this day because around 4: 30 am which is the best time to enjoy my morning sleep I was woken up by a tapping from my roommate. She told me one of the teachers came to call me so we could start making preparations to cook the party food, I was hesitant at first but later got up to go help out. We started by preparing the ingredients , steamed the meat, fried it, boiled the rice, made the sauce for the jellof rice then around 8 or 9 we were done with cooking.
When the cooking w done we just proceeded to cleaning the utensils used, and sweeping the surroundings to make sure the place was tidy since we'll be using the same spot for the celebration. After the cleaning was done we went back home to dress up for the party, I took the longest time in getting dressed up because I intended to use my old weaving I had in for the party but it was covered in smoke from the fire wood used in the cookings, and as such it was giving an unpleasant smell so I had to immediately lose and wash my hair, then used a wig cap, before I got dressed up. when I came out the party had already begun and music was ongoing.

The main celebration began with the chairman's opening speech, followed by different varieties of dances, recitation and lots more. It was a lot of fun and there was a competition amongst the parents as well, it was a dancing competition to see who the best dancer was amongst the parents. My pupils really made me proud with their igbo dance and it was one of my favorites. I was all smiles during the performance, each parents came out to encourage their children by supporting them, we also tied the eye of some parents, and brought out different children to see if they can identify their child even without looking, and the most beautiful part of it was that none of the parents failed, they all were able to recognize their wards just by touching their bodies.
What I was most grateful to God for was the fact that there wasn't a single rain to disrupt the party, even though it was during rainy season. Finally it was time to present certificate to the graduating pupils, there was two set first, those in primary six graduating to JSS, and pupils in kg going to primary section.

The set going to primary section.
After presentation of certificates was refreshments, everyone ate to their satisfaction. A closing remark was made and it was dance dance dance. Thanks so much for your time stay blessed till my next blog .
