The Diary Game: ATTENDING LECTURES, ASH WEDNESDAY AND COOKING GAS EMERGENCY: 18/02/2026

Hello Steemians, it's another beautiful moment to share my daily experience, engagements, and how I was able to run the day and remain happy.

1. Attending Lectures
2. Trekking to Tailoring shop
3. Ash Wednesday in Church
4. Emergency fill of Cooking Gas

If there has been a day that I struggled with sleep, that was on Wednesday. At 5 am, the alarm for morning prayers and preparation to go to school rang and I ignored it. At 5:30 am my wife tried to wake me up, but I couldn't. I told her to start the prayers. I was half asleep while the prayer points were raised. My body was kind of what I cannot explain. All I needed was more sleep, in fact, the aversion to getting up early was very strong, but in the end, I prayed when my wife persisted, immediately she ended the devotion, and I fell back to bed, only to wake up about 7:43 am, I hurriedly prepared for lectures.

The general class was held in the afternoon, research methodology. We spent not less than 3 hours and the unfinished sleep in my eyes showed up. I battled to control myself to avoid sleeping in class.

By 2:30 pm I left the school, and I trekked a reasonable distance to Uyo Plaza, navigating my way to a tailoring shop where my wife told me to pickup her clothes, it was very disappointing that the clothes were not ready. I told the tailor that i am not leaving without the clothes, considering the distance uncovered on foot to get there. She pleaded to sow those by this weekend so that we pick them up.

I got home about 5 minutes before 4 O'clock which was already the time to go to church for the Ash Wednesday service, therefore I didn't spend up to 3 minutes in the house when I left for church after I dropped my school bag.

I got to church about 15 minutes past 4 O'clock and I met only a few people and we did not wait for others but commenced the service. We finished the service at about 6:42 pm.

When I got home, I was very hungry from that stress since morning I left the house. As my wife wanted to use the kitchen, the cooking gas ran finished and there was no electricity the use the hot plate. Hmm! I was famished but no one else would go and look for where to buy LPG except me. Immediately I picked up the cylinder and moved down Nwaniba Road, and fortunately, the fuel station where gas is also sold was still doing business. I branched, as they were filling the gas I found a chair and I sat down, to regain strength.

From the time they were filling my cylinder, I almost fell asleep and pretended and walk around and the place. When I reached home and wife managed to prepare something for me to eat. I was so tired that I couldn't stay for too long to watch Arsenal march against Wolves. The game ended as Arsenal drew to continue dropping points as Manchester City was working hard to close the gap.
