Diary Game: A Visit to My Building Site 06/01/2026
Tuesday was one of those days that leaves my heart full and grateful. As always I woke up early feeling refreshed and determined to make the most of the day. My first duty was to prepare my children for school. I helped them get ready, packed their bags, and made sure they were neat and cheerful. For breakfast, we had a simple but satisfying meal of rice and beans, which gave us the energy we needed to start the day well.
After seeing my children off, I got ready for field ministry (house-to-house) preaching. It was a peaceful and rewarding experience; many people we met listened to the Good News we shared and were hopeful that soon Jehovah God would change things for the better for us. After the house-to-house, I returned to visit those who asked me to come again, and I concluded the ministry by 1:00 PM. There's this inner joy and satisfaction I normally feel after preaching. From there, I was already excited because I was heading straight to our building site to see the progress of the work.
On getting to the site, I was warmly welcomed by the sight of steady activity everywhere. Work is still very much in progress, with screeding, scraping, and sanding ongoing. The fencing is almost completed, and the sculpturing of the gutter is taking shape beautifully. Seeing everything come together made me smile with deep appreciation.
The house is quite beautiful and spacious. It has five rooms, excluding the dining room, sitting room, kitchen, and store room. Each room has its own bathroom, which adds so much comfort and convenience, and there is also an extra toilet outside for visitors. Quality materials are being used throughout the project; from the solid doors to the elegant tiles, modern windows, and POP designs. When it comes to quality, there's no compromise.
I took my time walking around the site, observing the details and relating freely with the workers. They were focused and hardworking, and I encouraged them while appreciating their efforts. The fence is almost done, and so is the screeding, some were scraping and sanding. The next stage will be electrical fittings, followed by painting, wardrobes, and other finishing touches. Every stage is a step closer to a dream becoming reality.
Standing there, I couldn’t help but thank God Almighty for everything. I said a silent prayer, asking Him to continue blessing my husband more than super abundantly so that he can successfully finish what he has started. This project is indeed a testimony of God’s grace and faithfulness.

I left the site around 2:00 PM and headed straight to my children’s school to pick them up. As always, they were so delighted to see me, their smiles melting away any tiredness I felt. We all went home together, took our baths, and had dinner, rice, and stew. After eating, I assisted them with their homework, ensuring they understood their lessons.
By 8:30 PM, we retired for the night, reviewing the day with thankful hearts. We hope to move in this year, I am grateful for everything. 🙏
