The Diary Game | Days of Hasini #03 (03 Jan 2023): Facial Treatment Training Day & Carnival at Galle face

Greetings my lovely friends!

Another day for me as an early bird, woke up at 5:00am feeling rested and ready to start the day after some good sleep I had yesterday. My first appointment for the day was a hair, makeup and dressing at 6:00am, so I quickly got dressed and headed out to the salon.

After my appointments, I spent the day training my assistants in the salon on facial treatments. I always make sure to keep up with the latest techniques and products in the beauty industry. I want to make sure my assistants are well-trained and able to provide the best possible services to our clients.

Now that the festive season is ending, busyness also getting little slow. Around 05.00pm I close the salon and came home. I think this will be a good chance to share what happened on 01st January night. If you don't know it yet read my first episode.

That night was fantastic! I didn't expect it to be that much happening. There were so many fun rides and games for families. I guess more than 10,000 people were around the area and the atmosphere was just electric. I ended up spending a few hours there, enjoying the sights and sounds of the carnival.

Many families and kids were attracted in different stalls to try out various activities. There were long queue lines for some popular games such as throwing balls at targets. I too had a feeling to try that game for fun but eventually decide against it seeing the long queue. Unlike me people didn't stop try their luck, I wonder how many won from that as the chances are highly slim.

The kids, seemed to be having the time of their lives with all the fun attractions available, like bouncing castles, roller coasters, carousels, and Ferris wheels. And for the young crowd, there were live music and performances to enjoy. But it wasn't just the kids who were having a good time, there were also food and drink stands, including a surprise beer booth, to keep everyone happy. This was my first time I've seen a beer booth at a carnival in Sri Lanka, however it definitely added to the festive atmosphere.

After all the excitement of the carnival, I was starving. I decided to treat myself to dinner at an Indian restaurant that I've read through @imanthadd's Found a quality Indian food Restaurant. I'm an Indian food lover so I've been wanting to try this restaurant. The food was mouthwatering, I enjoyed the masala dosa. The service was satisfactory, although it seemed that the staff were not particularly eager to see us as we arrived just 05min before closing time. I guess they were really tired on that night serving many guests. Despite this, the overall experience was quite positive. Thank you for the recommendation, Imantha.

Finally, that was the full day. I had to bring the evening part today because it was that much eventful day. As I reflect on the memorable events of the 01st Jan night, I will bring my diary for today to a close because I'm going to participate in a contest.
