The Diary Game:{01/04/2026}A Quiet Day
Dear Diary, Today felt really quiet. I woke up and just sat for a while before doing anything. I prayed and read my Bible verse on my phone, just easing into the morning slowly. I didn’t really eat breakfast — just a few pieces of the bread I baked yesterday.
Later on, I wrote down the ingredients I will buy, and use to cook for tomorrow and next tomorrow. It felt nice putting things on paper, like I was getting my thoughts together, even if it was just small planning.
Not long after, I started having a bad headache. It really slowed me down, so I slept for about two hours. When I woke up, it was already past 3 PM, so I rushed down to the market to buy the ingredients I jotted down on the piece of paper. On getting there I realised that things has gotten more costly because of the hike of fuel, but I still got the ingredients anyway.
When I got home, I brought out the things I bought and stored them properly. Like for the meat, ponmo, and tomato, I put it in a pot and cooked it. Later in the evening, at around six, I took my bath and then ate the leftover soup I made yesterday. It felt comforting, like a simple but perfect way to end the day. And that was how I spent my day.
