SEC-S15W4: My Dream Place
Steem greetings from the motherland-Cameroon to friends of the steem4bangladesh community. Welcome to my blog as I share my thoughts about the topic for the week 4 challenge.
The topic is “My Dream Place”, and I will focus my analysis based on the guiding questions below. I hope you all find pleasure in reading through this piece.

Which is your dream place and why is this place your dream place?
Everyone has that favourite place where they wish to either visit or stay for one reason or the other. For me, I'm not indifferent as I have some places that I wish to one day visit. One of those places is Rwanda.
I have read much about Rwanda, especially during the 1994 genocide in Rwanda between the Tutsis and the Hutus. Also the post-genocide Rwanda with lots of transformation in the country's development.
I have learned about the gacaca courts which were so cherished for resolving problems in a traditional way after the genocide. Their form of judgement brought peace and unity within them without interference from any foreign body.
It is therefore my dream place because I want to pay a visit to some of these institutions like the Gacaca court learn how they managed the institutions to resolve their problems without guns. This is necessary because it will help me to also use their strategies to better my community which has been in socio-political crisis for over 8 years now.
Show us a feature of your dream place.
In most developing countries, the rate of criminality is high because of security lapses that criminals use to operate. Rwanda is one of those countries where I can say has low crime rates due to the tight security measures put in place.
The people are friendly and show hospitality to visitors. Unlike in some countries where foreigners are constantly being humiliated. The people of Rwanda are legendary in hospitality.
The climatic conditions in Rwanda are favourable to everyone. It is not too hot or too cold.
Lastly, the languages spoken in Rwanda are an added advantage for anyone as two of them are widely spoken all over the world. That is English and French are
Amongst the 4 official languages spoken in Rwanda.
What are the special dishes of your dream place and what special dishes do you want to enjoy there? And if you have been, what food did you enjoy?
As a Cameroonian and an African, we always prefer our traditional delicacies over any other food. The reason why in other countries, there is an African food store where you can get some of the basic traditional ingredients to prepare what you want to eat.
Therefore, in Rwanda, I would prefer to visit an African food store where I can buy some Cameroon food ingredients to prepare my traditional delicacies and eat. This way, I will be sure of what I'm eating.
Who do you want to go with or have you gone to your dream place?
I would love to travel with my whole family, that is my kids and my husband. Travelling with family is fun as you bond freely, chat, etc.
My kids always enjoy it when we travel with them. It's a memorable moment for them as they will always remember the trip and will keep reminding you to always plan trips as such for the family.
At this juncture, I have come to the end of my presentation and I am inviting @majerius, @fombae and @saxopedia to share their ideas about their dream place.
Your dream of visiting Rwanda is both insightful and admirable. The desire to learn from their post-genocide transformation particularly the success of institutions like the Gacaca courts reflects a commendable aspiration for positive community impact. The emphasis on tight security friendly hospitality and favorable climatic conditions adds to the allure of Rwanda as your dream place. The idea of bringing a piece of home through traditional Cameroonian delicacies even in a foreign land shows a beautiful connection to your roots. Traveling with your family to create lasting memories is a wonderful choice. I hope your dream of exploring Rwanda and implementing the lessons learned for community betterment comes true🌍✈️

Hola @chant
Greetings friend, I appreciate your time reading through my post and giving feedback. I usually don't eat what I haven't been eating because I am not friendly with strange food. Most often when I try new food, I end with either a stomach ache or diarrhoea. I prefer eating what I'm used to eating.
Greetings dear friend,

Rwanda is indeed a fascinating place with a rich history. Learning about the gacaca courts and their unique way of resolving conflicts is truly inspiring. By visiting these institutions, you'll have the opportunity to witness firsthand how they managed to bring peace and unity without the use of violence. I'm sure their strategies will provide valuable insights for improving your own community.
