Yes! I've Finally Made it to Rep "75"!
I remember making this post three months back. It was so great getting to rep "74" but my bigger goal has always been on the big "75"! Well, yesterday I hit that target. And talk about being over the moon!
Although the question is does it even matter what rep you are anymore? OF COURSE IT DOES! Landmark achievements in your personal journey on the STEEM blockchain, are something to be celebrated. It adds yet another piece to the historical jigsaw puzzle you are creating for yourself by being here. Because as I've said many times in the past, none of the STEEM I've acquired until today, was handed to me. I pretty much blogged and invested my way up to point in time and certainly have no intention of stopping anytime soon. And the great thing is this opportunity can be afforded to absolutely anybody.
Lately, I've been reading a lot of shit about people cussing out the whales or anyone with a decent amount of STEEM POWER. When really speaking, they are only looking at the end result of a much larger picture. I have never been of the "jealous" mindset throughout my life. Even back when I first discovered Steemit in July 2016, a handful of individuals were already creaming their wallets full with STEEM whilst us onlooker could simply stare on in amazement. However I thought to myself "Screw it, I wanna get to where they are!" There was no anger or frustration directed towards someone else's good fortune. Instead, I chose to focus on my own potential success. I fully understood there were no guarantees of getting there, but I would give it a damn good shot trying!
Fast forward to today and things are looking markedly better. Of course, there are still many successful individuals here far ahead of myself in terms of wealth, popularity and talent. And I say, good for them! Their paths led them to where they are today and therefore, they have every right to enjoy the rewards that come with it. Always be happy for others as well as yourself. You'll soon find life will be a much more pleasant adventure all round. Bare in mind that the coding of the platform doesn't discriminate, people do. So don't listen to the heaps of trash BS talk and concentrate on climbing that ladder and making the most out of your own experience here on Steemit.
Hence here's to your ultimate success stories too, my Steemian peepz! Onwards and upwards. And roll on, rep "76"!!! :)
