I remember it was some time in highschool when i read about a post in facebook from a very religious schoolmate pointing out how a christian should act/do or shouldn’t act/do that I questioned religion. I was, in a way, confused by how we were always identified based on our religion and how we were defined by a certain doctrine. It was by then that I viewed religion as a form of hypocrisy, a person who proclaimed to be a follower of God considered others immoral just by the way they dressed.

“Hypocrite...” i whispered while looking at the post.

I consider myself as I christian not because I was baptized as one but because I have faith in my God. I respect others: their religion, belief, opinions etc;I do not perceive their individuality from their looks but by their deeds; I believe that I have no right to condemn anyone; lastly I don’t invalidate anyone’s religion and these reasons are, what i think, makes me a christian or what makes others’ a people of their religion —— we are humane.

I believe that our God is bigger than any of our religion as he is not defined by any of those, but through pure will and kindness.
