I don't think Trump himself, or what he does matters at all. It is only about the "ideal" he represents, and "that" they are onboard with. He is a "representative" of their mindset, and beliefs.
In this vain he is also the leader of those beliefs, they will stay to the end.
I have talked with people who called "O'bama" everything imaginable. On Trump the response from the same people is "I wish people would stop talking about my president". Kinda lets you know...
