The Art of Contentment

As a human being, we are driven by the environment we exist in. The thoughts and opinions are all reflections to our immediate society. The feeling of dissatisfaction is what kept us moving and also it is true that a dose of healthy discontentment is necessary to go on with our lives.
A problem will start when we enter a blind race for money, fame and power.
When these things decide how you live your life, there will be a chance that you would keep going and not be able to pause the smell of the roses.
It is because there would be either be the next achievement you want to reach or reachable upstart who you feel wanting to dethrone you.
You have to find a balance that would allow you chase your dreams and still be able to appreciate the good things.
Being content isn't about not wanting. It is wanting and has the feel appreciated that what you have while you still do.

Life as we know it, will be as it going to be. Some might be good or bad. You will have to take it in stride and rise above from it even if you have to stoop to conquer.

Don't try to trick yourself by thinking that there is a tie and you shouldn't be worry about.

Comparison led to a disappointment. My work are no match than him or her, his wife is prettier than his, all sorts of that. All of these would only fuel of feeling discontentment and unhappiness.
You should know that this is only temporary right?
Who knew how long our life will last? those comparison means nothing when you facing death.
Our life might have different path, everyone deserves their efforts on what they have been chasing for, if you keep on comparing your life to others, that means your life will be miserably discontentment. Have a little respect about yourself!

Have you ever noticed how children seem to be always happy? How they're like their own world? How that little things fascinate them and get them excited? for example fascinate watching a car moving? or watching the rain?. As an adult you can have something closer than that too.

You can do this by learning from them to find joy in little things. These moments of joy are really what make life worth living. Imagine yourself didn't know how to ride a bicycle? but you finally manage to learn it yourself? doesn't it amuse you? So there you go, you already have your contentment.
