The Japanese manufacturer Toyota is going to launch a new car Toyota Vios to take on other C segment sedan cars like Honda city, VW Vento, Maruti Suzuki Ciaz among others. The upcoming car has been spotted testing in India with new sporty design and Style inside and outside the car. The Vios is expected to launch somewhere in mid 2018 at a very competitive price starting from Rs. 7.5 Lacs.
Toyota having two very successfully hits with Fortuner and Innova but could not taste of success in sedan as well as in hatchback category in India. Toyota Upcoming Vios which is on sale in other emerging markets positioned competitive with other brands available in the segment. Time will tell if the same impression will continue in the Indian market.
Toyota Vios Features at a glance
It seems, design and style has got the special attention of Toyota, first glance is definitely positive. Headlights and grille have been designed to give a premium and fresh look to the car. Front bumper has been a sportier look aligned with an octagonal air intake. Its flared wheel arches and a strong shoulder line helps in giving premium identification. The new Vios sedan features large tail lamps and large chrome strip across the length of the booth for boosting the premium appeal of the car.
Interiors seem to be copied from its other model Corolla Altis. Toyota has given its special attentions to its spacious and comfortable interiors. The Cabin is said to be wide, big front sheets and plenty of leg room and width at the rear along with the useable door pockets. It also has been updated with basic music system, touch screen infotainment system, climate control system.
Toyota Vios Engine specifications
Toyota to launch its new upcoming car Vios with Petrol and Diesel engines variants. Petrol version to house a 1.5 litre engine and Diesel engine to house a 1.4 litre engine currently serving in Etios. Transmission options are expected to include conventional five speed manual, seven speeds CVT box and a six speed manual for diesel variant.
Launch and Price
Toyota Vios launch date to be somewhere in mid 2018 and to price between Rs. 7.5 lacs to 12 lacs. It will definitely be a value for money for everybody.
