In my recent post

I noted that STEEM/BTS looked their 1-day MACDs were possibly about to go green.

This is just a quick post because I noticed a couple more are going/possibly about to go green on the 1-day MACD on poloniex:

I am not recommending buying these (but I'm 'not recommending not buying' them either) (It is in entirely up to each trader to decide for themselves)! They have both seen around 10% rises already. And, rises like these can be very quick and then fall back after - so opportunities may be limited at this point with these two, but who knows :)

Instead, what I find interesting is to see what's happened to these digital assets in a couple of weeks time (along with STEEM, BTS, and any others...).
Will they have risen against BTC, or will they have fallen back to down to where they started (or lower)? Only time will tell!

DISCLAIMER: I am not giving any trading advice in this post.

xaero1 news.

The two major moving averages have crossed though! And the price has retraced more than 50%. Healthy retracements usually stay above Fibo 50%. No? I don't know bro but I'm still skeptic!

Very good analysis. I agree. After a 50% retrace I look to sell. Although I may also look to buy back in again if the uptrend continues.

I'm doing this with a small amount of BTS I bought. As regards STEEM, I'm all powered up so I intend only to hold as a long term investment :) and I will trade other things!

@xaero1 thanks for sharing this update. I think that the market is beginning to be positive about Bitcoin being able to succeed come August 1st and thus the optimistic move. Steem is doing great however still undervalued but a good time to buy. Upvoted and resteemed .

Agree about steem. Bitcoin however, I want to wait and seen how events transpire!! Cheers:)

Good point..and we have red again..time to get more good coins.

Haha , back to green

Give a lot of thought.

Good opportunity @xaero1

It was..... but it turned out the best plan was to sell straight after (so far)!!!! And, this isn't always the case, in my experience.

(Anyway, I personally made around 1BTC in the end (BTS, and FCT), so can't complain too much😀)

That means we must continue at all times @xaero1 :D

To be honest I wasn't expecting this much rise in BTC in a span of a week I think this is the biggest jump after April just last I was thinking of selling a couple of SBDs to get some new coin especially SNTs. missed out on good a opportunity,

There's always a cycle of opportunities. Buy during a period when prices are lower is good though.

I am all optimistic about steemit. It will soon touch 4$ mark and I am accumulating as much as I can.

Think we will see more money running into alt coins.
Even though I thought many altcoins were in a bubble prior to the recent crash, now people will be hungry to gain on their recoveries following the brutal fall. So expecting growth in LBRY, Antshares, Stratis, SC, etc over the next few weeks.

Good time to increase the volume of ones coins buy hitting lows and being disciplined to take even small gains.

At least I've been having a good time this week :)

Thanks for your comment!
I thought this bubble was over...but as they say, 'if everyone expects the market to do something, then it probably won't do what you are expecting!'

Good week for trading BTC (for me, personally). No idea where market is going next though😀

Of course I didn't quite say it would rise, I said the MACD looked like it might go green😆 What happens after, only the market knows😉

if you know what i means hahahah i am too holding

It seems like the markets have recovered and it seems like any time now the markets I think will go green.
I'm going to invest on Sunday evening then hopefully during the week it booms with green as it usually does. That is what I suspect.
If it does go green, how long do you think it will last looking at the MACDs or is it just random?
Thanks for the suggestion @xaero1

It's very difficult to know if we're still in a downtrend or this is a new uptrend. If I'm trading, I normally look to sell at around the 50% retrace point, but then buy back in if the advance continues. Even in a downtrend, a 50% (or close) retrace is common.
