Toda Fiesta Tradicional despierta en los habitantes ese realismo mágico, es el crisol de un sincretismo de creencias, saberes y legados que pasan por narración oral escénica de una generación a otra, calando en lo hondo del alma de aquel que las toma como parte diaria de su vida, adornando su rutina diaria.

En medio este ambiente lleno de alegría, les presento el artículo "La Fiesta de San Antonio"
Esta es una gran fiesta celebrada a partir del día 13 de Junio en varias latitudes del mundo, acá en mi nación se lleva a cabo en la mayoría de las poblaciones del estado Lara como El Tocuyo, Curarigua, Sanare, Barquisimeto, Cabudare, San Antonio, Carora, Duaca, San Miguel y Quibor, también en otros Estados Occidentales como Portuguesa, Yaracuy y Falcón como en el oriente en el estado Bolívar, en pocas palabras es una tradicion que se lleva a cabo en varios sectores del país hasta finales del mes de Junio, preámbulo a las fiestas de San Juan.
This is a great celebration celebrated from June 13 in various latitudes of the world, here in my nation is held in most of the towns of the state Lara as El Tocuyo, Curarigua, Sanare, Barquisimeto, Cabudare, San Antonio, Carora, Duaca, San Miguel and Quibor, also in other Western States such as Portuguesa, Yaracuy and Falcón as well as in eastern in the state Bolivar, in short is a tradition that takes place in various sectors of the country until the end of June, preamble to the feasts of San Juan.

La celebración inicia en las vísperas del día 13, con el Velorio del Santo, frente a un altar engalanado de flores, los devotos de San Antonio entonan oraciones y plegarias, acompañan además al Santo entonando cantos que se extienden hasta el amanecer y luego de un suculento desayuno por turnos inicia la algarabía, los cantos de Tamunangue, acompañados de cohetes que estallan sin cesar en el cielo mientras repican las campanas de la Iglesia.
The celebration begins on the eve of the 13th, with the wake of the Saint, in front of an altar decorated with flowers, the devotees of San Antonio sing prayers and supplications, they also accompany the Saint singing songs that go on until dawn and after a succulent breakfast in turns begins the joy, the songs of Tamunangue, accompanied by rockets that burst incessantly in the sky while the bells of the Church ring.
