Neat place, seems serene and the view is amazing. You can see long ways with no large mountains in sight. the jungle being as thick as it appears maybe the Mayans were looking to the sky above. Were they noted to be astrologers?
They even have a lookout spot, dont know the word in english but it was used to look at the stars. A very high peak in the surroundings of the ruins!!
I think the word would be astronomer, those that observe and study the stars.
Were the Mayans really hitchhikers looking for a ride to the stars? lol
