Get A three day 15.00 a year 75 bucks weaver mining permit to be legal ! do not Jump on others claims you will be shot here ! there are 15 great claims you can mine that belong to weaver mining Always get a permit from weaver or join road runners gold prospecting club you have access to all the claims I suggest weaver mining its the cheapest 75 bucks full yr and 15 bucks for a three day pass weaving mining is in the center of congress az ask anybody ! they will show right where it is
congress being closer wickenburg however is where the services are hotels resturaunts are closest to the claims are in wickenburg there are small stores a dollar store and a bar in congress ! and you can camp right on the claims free its Blm land just bring water there is none here any water for drinking mining small recirculating sluice in a tub i haul water in like 20 gallons or you can use a dry washer best time to go is oct till may weaver mining has a web site online

If you get a membership at weaver mining they will give you claim maps might want to try the octave side right below octave mine these washes contain lots of gold find a side dig in behind boulders rocks you want to get down to hard rock clay this is where the gold settles clean out cracks crevices good gold settles in these cracks run 10 15 5 gallon pails of ,material dug out of the bottom of these washes run it through a sluice box or dry washer and pan it you might get nice pan of chunky gold like i do
