Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @liltammy:

Located in the tiny South Moravian village of Lednice, some 12 km outside of the town of Mikulov, the Lednice Chateau is a monumental chateau originally built in the 16th century. The current neo-Gothic appearance of the chateau dates back to an extensive reconstruction of the chateau in the 1850s.

What a great capture. Prague sure is to be visited more than once in a lifetime. Great entry to be featured in today's contest. Thank you so much. Tomas

Clear water and beautiful natural surroundings of the Silver Lake in Opava. The lake used to be a gypsum quarry that got flooded by the nearby River Opava in 1964. Soon after the quarry got filled with water, the place became a popular relaxation area for residents of the region and even international visitors from Poland as Opava is located very close to the Czech-Polish border.

Beautiful flower gardens and parks in front of one of the buildings of the Lednice - Valtice Cultural Landscape Complex. Located in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic, the complex is one of the most famous and visited tourist attractions of the area.

A picture of the beautiful Old Town square, portraying the Tyn cathedral in the background. I am always amazed at the beauty of the square, and how fantastic the location of the Tyn Cathedral is at the main square, but still kind of hidden away.

This is a charming city built around the winding Vltava River. We had an excellent walking tour outlining the remarkable history of this jewel. It escaped the fate of many other towns (not being torn up by bombs). There are fascinating buildings in a profusion of styles and colors. Because it is popular old Cesky Krumlov can get very crowded.

Cesky Krumlov
The most beautiful, fabulous, romantic, amazing, incredible. That's Krumlov. In this city, one feels like a fairy tale. During my visit I met only the willing people and the stay was wonderful.

Stromovka, (former area for royal hunting in Holešovice), Holešovice, Prag
P1090271.JPG
This place is to be a royal hunting area from the 13th century. We know it for sure from the 14th century. Place was gradually improved. Buildings, ponds, rare trees grew ... In the difficult times, the place was ruined.
Since 1804, the Stromovka has been transformed into a park. And the changes have continued and continue to date. It is a place where you can go anytime and soothe your gaze into the greenery or the number of water areas and fountains. The big ones I have found three ...

View From Prague Castle
Prague Castle is a castle on a pretty hill, where you can not only see the old Prague but also admire the scenery of the beautiful old town. Inside the castle are castles as well as towns. This magnificent cathedral, beautiful gardens, and past lifestyle of the Czechs, this Prague castle is always crowded with tourists. If you want to see old Prague and its beautiful Old Town, you should go to Prague Castle!

St. Salvator Church is one of two churches in the Klementinum in Old Town. This is in the heart of tourist hell so get there early to beat the masses of gawkers in high season. Lovely Church facade remains, but the complex is now used for concerts. Providing the most beautiful setting for music.

It is a social monument icon of the end of communism. It is supposed that in the 80's there were painted on peace and Beatles lyrics precisely when the communist regime did not share these freedoms. It was tried to stop the drawing of graffiti even by means of cameras but new ones did not stop appearing ... When John Lennon died there appeared a series of graffiti that gave name to the wall. You can take some very symbolic photos there.
