Hello fellow Steemians,
I hope you are all having a great weekend! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.
The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.
Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.
There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @sk-russell:
Zámek valtice - valtice castle. I think the feeling around the castle was one in millions. And it was a great experience that I had. This day will not be easy to forget in one's memory. I kudos to you all made it at the place.

Church of Our Lady before Týn
It is difficult to find the entrance to this church, which nevertheless dominates the Old Town Square and the historical district of Staré Město, 80 meters high: framed by low houses that serve as a backdrop to the church with black towers. one of Prague's most important Gothic buildings - well worth a visit.
It sure is one of the most important monuments in the country and sure deserves some recognition. What a great image to feature this Sunday. Enjoy the rest of your weekend. Tomas
Thanks Tomas.
Lesser Town Bridge Tower, Prague
In those first few days in Prague, I returned again and again to the Charles Bridge. So much of the city’s history and character seemed to be encapsulated in that one remarkable structure that I photographed it repeatedly, from multiple angles. It was impossible not be charmed by the bridge and its history.
The Dancing House is one of my favorites buildings in Prague, this construction of the late 1990’s is surrounded by neoclassical and baroque buildings. This B&W image shows how dynamic is the design of the building and its lines give the idea of movement. The architects were inspired by the dancers Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers.
It sure is an outstanding piece of architecture!
I always love the bridges in Prague, so many old historic bridges in the city. I went on a weekend trip in Prague, has a few amazing days in this wonderful city. The castles, the parks, the palace, everything is just amazing there. Even though it was so hot when I travelled there, still enjoyed it a lot.
I am very happy to hear you had a great time in my capital:)....
On the photo is Wallenstein garden (Valdštejnská zahrada), strictly geometrically designed early Baroque garden that was created in parallel with the construction of the Wallenstein Palace from 1623 to 1629. In summer the garden is the venue for concerts and theatrical performances.
Karlovy Vary
I went to Karlovy Vary on an unusual occasion. I had to record an interview there. I did this in a nursing home. Or rather, it was the home of veterans. I was deeply shocked by the attitude towards the old people. The nursing home looks like a five-star hotel!
I am glad to hear your positive experience... Normal nursing houses are not so fancy though....
There are a lot of things to admire about europe. In Ghana, these pigeons are not really as many as in europe here. I have admired them since i traveled abroad. I want to raise three pigeons as pets when i settle down after school.
The Jewish Town Hall in Josefov, Prague, was constructed adjacent to the Old New Synagogue on the corner of Maiselova and Červená Ulice in 1586 in Renaissance style under the sponsorship of Mayor Mordechai Maisel. It acquired its Rococo facade in the 18th century.
Valtice Castle
This fantastic palace is well worth a visit for those who enjoy beautiful interiors and unique architecture.
Located right near the towns square there is plenty of paid parking available. The exterior of the entrance is sadly not in very good condition but the design plus garden is so lovely you almost don't notice it.
Bolfánek - lookout tower on the hill Žďár (583 m above sea level) near the town of Chudenice. It measures 45 meters, it has a total of 138 stairs and offers a wonderful view of the Šumava, Bohemian Forest and Radyni near Pilsen. The Alps are also seen as very good visibility.
