WARNING: The use of images that are not your own on which you claim the ownership will be flagged - HELPING TO STOP PLAGIARISM ON STEEMIT

Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @swerdan:

Another picture I took from atop Town Hall. This time it is of The Powder Tower. The Powder Tower is one of the original 13 city gates in Old Town, Prague, Construction began in 1475. The tower was intended to be an attractive entrance into the city, instead of a defensive tower. The foundation stone was placed by Vladislav II.

The Final Piece...

This photo was taken from the park of Vyšehrad, south west of the actual castle. This statue is among many scattered throughout Vyšehradské sady, and they are all worth gazing at. I couldn't tell you the history or meaning behind any of them, but are rich in wonder in their own right. I just really enjoyed the angle in which I played with this one; almost as if it's building the castle with its bare hands and placing the final piece.

Thank you for you great submission. It will get featured as an entry image in today's challenge. Have a great day. Tomas

Thanks :) I feel honored

The Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul is located on the Petrov hill in the centre of the city of Brno. It is a national cultural monument and one of the most important pieces of architecture in South Moravia. Highly recommend going up the tower to enjoy the beautiful city views. There is a small fee but it's well worth it.

Gracias Amigo :) @justdothat

Panoramic photo of the main courtyard of the Prague Castle. In the image can be seen St. Vitus Cathedral at the center, the famous obelisk (which was erected as memorial of the first world war) and the Presidencial Palace.

I am glad that you liked it. Thank you.

Panoramic view of the Prague center from a look-out point under the Prague Castle. They say Lisbon is the “city of the red roofs” but as you can see in this shot, Prague could have the same nickname too :) I took this image on a grey cloudy day in November 2013.

Great pic! Thank you so much!

Today my entry is from Prague. On the picture we can see river Vltava with bridges. The Vltava River divides Prague into two parts. The river is born in the Bohemian Forest and ends in the Elbe. It is a popular river for water sports and flows, for example, by Český Krumlov.

Hi first of all I`d like to share with you my this photo of Hluboká Castle.

I already wrote about this castle here post.
And I was there for the first time with my ex-girlfriend. Then we for the first time traveled around the Czech Republic together. And this was our first joint trip. We have been preparing for it for a long time. And visiting this castle will be remembered for a lifetime. We have long since parted from my ex-girlfriend. And the Czech Republic has remained in my heart forever!

I am glad you were able to visit this gem! Truly spectacular place. Tomas

Thanks Tomas! I agree with you! It is especially important for me considering how many memories I have connected with this place!
Also thanks for such cool idea with this contest!

For today's picture we have a few skateboarders at t he metronome. Everyday I went up there to have lunch they were there skating. They seemed to be having fun. I watched took pictures a couples times so I have a lot more of them coming over time. Enjoy.

This is the John Lennon Wall in the Grand Priory Square in Prague. Once a normal wall, since the 1980s it has been filled with John Lennon-inspired graffiti and pieces of lyrics from Beatles' songs. Well worth a visit!

Getting quite full... mine's there somewhere as well, haha....

This photo was taken in Tabor, a city in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. You can see Kotnov tower (a landmark of a castle ruined during a fire in 1532; the tower is 25m high, serves as a lookout tower today and has 155 stairs) and Bechyně Gate (the last of the town's original Gothic portals to remain standing).

After walking a whole day around Prague, I just sat down at one of the restaurants in the old town, enjoyed a glass of beer and just watched the people going by. It was the perfect end of a very pleasant day.
