Hello fellow Steemians!
Welcome to my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Australian Monday - where the winner of the weekly round will be able to participate for the total of 200 SBD!
Today, you can participate by submitting your personal pictures from your travels to the continent of Australia. I am also adding New Zealand to the same challenge as there were some concerns from other Steemians as to which continent NZ belongs to.
See the winner of the last week´s Australian Monday @davedavis91 with the following entry:
"Life on Rottnest" Imagine Paradise.... What do you see? Beach, Water, ocean, crystal clear water... If this is your imagination, than here you go: Go to Rottnest Island on the shores off Perth, Western Australia. This Island is home to the weirdest Rat-Kangaroo species called the quokka. A cute and tiny something all over the island. Snorkelling, swimming, and quite peaceful hang out place. Shot with my Nikon D5300.

Your entries need to be submitted by 8 AM Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.
Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total.
Please see the winner of Asian Sunday and give him your support if you like his image to be the one winning the weekly price and entering the other stages of the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge. You can vote for him by upvoting his winner announcement post below:

We spotted this eagle ray cruising past the beautiful coral reef at Lady Elliot Island on the southern Great Barrier Reef. With over 2,300km’s of virtually uninhabited reefs and islands there are plenty of pristine areas to be explored.
Beautiful photo but since this is an ocean shot perhaps better for the Antarctica and World's ocean contest!
These are on Tuesday
• Monday: Australia and New Zealand
• Tuseday: Antarctica + the world’s oceans
• Wednesday: Africa
• Thursday: Europe
• Friday: North America
• Saturday: South America
beautiful creatures :)
Looks very majestic!
Mount Cook is absolutely unbelieve, one of my favourite places on the South Island without a doubt! This was taken in 2017 sometime in the spring! I highly recommend it to anyone travelling on the South Island of NZ!
Oh yes, I loved that place! Hope to go back one day :-)
What a wonderful image! Well done.
Waterfall at Atherton Tablelands
The Atherton Tablelands in northern Queensland, Australia are known to be home of many waterfalls. There is about 10 waterfalls to visit and this is one of it. It is not a big one but it is a very nice one.
All the waterfalls in New Zealand is pretty :) , nice capture @betterthanhome
thank you @rinawonderlands. But this is from Australia. I´ve changed the description as it wasn´t really clear.
ahh i misread it hehe.. thought it's Queenstown :)
Thank you so much for your contribution. Have a great day. Tomas
This picture is from a place called Pancake Rocks. It is located on the west coast of the South Island in New Zealand, and it is basically just a lot of beautiful rocks stacked on top of each other which together creates blow holes. Pretty cool!
What a wonderful entry. Thank you so much.
Thank you! It was hard to post again after my weekly win. But I'll keep doing it to support the competition :-)
Road to Aoraki/Mt. Cook, New Zealand
The joke between @suitcasemama and I when we were visiting New Zealand is that everything seems so perfect, like it was deisgned by Disney. The road to Aoraki/Mt. Cook is a good example: a picturesque drive next to impossibly turquoise Lake Pukaki with the snow capped mountains looming in the background.
What a great ride this must be. Love that scenery.
Good morning all,
I lived almost 2 years in australia, im dutch myself. I did my farmwork at a banana plantation. 3 months of hard labor, to stay another year in australia. They had a big water tower on their land, which i climbed in some morning to make puctures of the beautiful sunrise.
I always love your entries ~ ✨ ~
Thanks!! Many more to come, i just need to get my photographs from my hard disk and on to my phone. So i can share them with my fellow steemians!

I know exactly what you mean ~ I have most of my stuff stored at home on my old computer... quite a trouble to transfer it all :)
Great shot! I am glad to see you are finding your way around here.
NZ South Island Rainforest Drone Photo
Green, green, green. Here on the west coast of the South Island, up to 5 m of rain falls every year (yes metres). This rainfall makes big rivers, as seen here, as well as making everything green, green, green. Note the beautiful Southern Alps in the background. Enjoy some drone photography to spice things up here!
This is also posted on my blog @snowyknight.
Thank you so much for your support and participation. Have a great day. Tomas
Thank you! Sorry for late reply... super busy. Have a great day Tomas!
Whitsunday island, Queensland.
Whitehaven Beach is a place you simply must visit at least once in your life. Images of Whitehaven Beach are not photoshopped in any way. It is really that beautiful. A paradise on earth.
Thank you of your entry. I wish I was by the ocean right now:)
My entry for today contest Tomas :
Last time i was in Queenstown, i went to visit my friends in their house. During sunset time, i saw this amazing sunset from their balcony. It's impossible to not taking pictures of this beauty. You can see the scenic lake Wakatipu with the snow capped mountains on the backgrounds.
Wow! That is something else!
Thanks Tomas :)
While traveling through Australia from Perth to Melbourne we also enjoyed the Great Ocean Road and its Twelve Apostels shown on my photo. While only eight apostels remains due to landclaiming of the ocean this is still a magnificent wonder of mother nature.
magnificent ~ ❤️ ~
Thank you 💙
This place looks amazing! Nice pic @gococonuts
Thanks a lot @rinawonderlands 😘
I just love that place!
@czechglobalhosts It's great isn't it?! And if you time your visit right you can avoid the tourbusses and get some magical shots. Did you know that after sunrise you can see these tiny pinquins coming on to the beach? So cool to watch!
