Finally I think I've got a picture which is good enough for your contest. I've posted it already in one of my own posts. It's the picture from the waterfall Peričnik in Slovenia. This is a waterfall with a halfway basin and you can climb to the upper part of the fall. This part is a 20m drop approx, I think 🤔, the second part is around 50m. Let's enjoy for the last days till the winter kicks in those beautiful colors autumn gives to us.

Your entries need to be submitted by 8 AM Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.

Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total.

Please see the winners of the previous contests of the week and give them your support if you like their images to be the one winning the weekly price and entering the other stages of the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge. You can vote for them by upvoting their winner announcement posts below:

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Asian Sunday week #62 - winner announcement!

@vinceboisgard Asian Sunday entry:

At the ending of the day, when the sun is setting and the sky shine of warm colours comes the best time to get the board out. Bali is a nice place to do so and I always loved sitting on the beach watching the show!

A group of them have got used to visit the anchorage several times a week and were happy to pose in front of my camera. I'm sure they have heard about @czechglobalhosts and wanted to be posted for the Australian Monday contest. Done !

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – Tuesday of Antarctica and World´s Oceans week #62 – winner announcement!

@axeman Tuesday of Antarctica and World´s Oceans entry:

Ice soldiers. The coast of Baltic Seaa t Sventoji, Lithuania. A small city about 40km from Klaipeda. The remaons of old piers looks just stunning after certain periods of cold weather with ice hats on the tops caused by constantly hitting waves. This evening was very calm and got some colors only at the very sunset. A bit of long exposure to "move" the clouds. Enjoy it!

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - African Wednesday week #62 - winner announcement!

@jpphotography African Wednesday entry:

Tinghir Ruins, Morocco. Until a few decades ago, houses in Tinghir, a small town in Morocco, were built next to the river. Now that tap water is available and a convenient access to roads and infrastructure has become more important, these mud-brick houses have been abandoned. The ruins located in the green oasis make for some great exploring!

Amazing Skagsanden beach in norwegian Lofoten islands offers many photographic oportunities - one side of this very long beach has amazing patterns created on the white and black sand, changing after every water flow, in other part of the beach, during low tide, we can find amazing rock formations and small ponds with sea life in them. The best thing that the camping site is just next to these beauties.

Stunning shot! I love the remoteness of the Lofotens.

Yes, its true, thanks a lot!

What an awesome image. Well done!

Thanks a lot!! I will try my luck from time to time ;). Good day!

Sunset a few days ago from a beach on the blue coast near Marseille in France. The mix of blue and orange, together with the breaking waves were particularly nice.

Wow, such an amazing sunset. One could stare at it forever.

There are so many reasons why I fell in love with Rome : The People, The Food (and wine of course), The History and also The Coffee! Stones everywhere.. but.. I was amazed to be standing in the exact same places the Romans walked all those thousands of years ago. Coloseum has the typical rustic charm and even if you don´t have a historically interested bone in your body, you can´t help to be in awe of the special stories of this ancient city.

Yep, truly fascinating place indeed. Just little too busy for my liking. Thank you for this wonderful image.

Buna Spring, Bosnia and Herzegovina

I do not travel with a tripod, but I always take my ND filters. Long exposures are awesome and in most cases I manage find somewhere to rest my camera on without needing a tripod. The spring of the river Buna in Blagaj has some of the freshest water in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

I have also posted this photo on my blog.

Thank you so much for your participation and this wonderful entry.

Zaanse Schans is a very picturesque small town in the Netherlands, ideal for tourists to appreciate and enjoy the windmills, and see how the levees contain water and how the population itself is below the water level. It is simply charming, my wife was happy that day, so much that we have gone 2 times, I hope you like it.

This is an awesome place! Loved it to bits!

Stormy weather in the Spanish Pyrenees. When the weather changes, the cloud are menacing and the rain is about to come. The thunder will explode in the air and the lightings will spark in between earth and sky. I love watching a storm going on...

Salt walkers

Nice memories from the recent trip to Cyprus and staying at Larnaca for over one week. Amazing sunset at famous Salt Lake which looks like a frozen, but actual temperature at the evening was close to +30.

Great cloud formations, sun rays and a silhouettes of three kids passing buy by the lake surface

Enjoy the scenery :)

Looks like they are walking on a water surface:).... awesome shot!

I love the buzz of railway stations, and Milan Station was no different. On this day, I was catching the train to Lake Como, going from a cosmoplitan city to an affluent fancy area where many of the other half lives occasionally in their second homes.

It sure is interesting to watch some people rushing around minding their own business. This looks like beautiful train station. Have a good one.

Thanks for your support

Riga TV Tower
One of the sights on your way to Ventspils, when you cross the river Daugava in Riga. An interesting fact about the structure - it is the third tallest tower in Europe standing at 368 m including the antenna. I have captured the scene from the moving coach. By the way, the TV tower sits on the island called Zaķusala which translates as the island of rabbits.

Thank you so much for your wonderful entry. Have a great weekend.

This is a picture from my recent trip to Portugal. It is shot from a window of the famous tram 28, the vintage means of transportation of Lisbon which carries you across the city center for a sightseeing tour with style :)
More about this trip here!

Thank you so much for your submission. Have a great weekend.
