Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @dali-gis:

Restaurant Slunecni terasa T-Anker. We passed by and we were very happy to find this restaurant. Very nice place, a terrace with a beautiful view and what struck me the most is the kindness of a particular server who spoke French as well as I think it was the most kind person with us during our stay. We have tasted the burger T-anker really very good. I really advice this restaurant

As I've said before about photos I've posted here, the one piece of advice I would give someone visiting Prague is to take the time to visit Letná Park. Besides being a beautiful park filled with people exercising or walking their dogs, the park also offers incredible views of Old Town. While it's pretty popular and full of photographers trying to get a shot, there's definitely plenty of space and not overly crowded. And the best part is you can get a photo like this:

Let's not forget the beer garden located in the park. Excellent spot where to drink a cold beer in the hot Prague summer days ;)

I didn't make it to the beer garden! Next time! :)

Sure! I am curious to know how you enjoyed that :)

Have a wonderful day!

Excellent shot. I would love to see this as one of the cover photos for the contest. Amazing capture. I really like the boat in the water.

Great entry and recommendation Matt, well worth featuring in today's edition.

Panorama of Powder Tower, Prague

One more great location in Pargue is Powder Tower. It looks very similar to Old Town Bridge Tower and located near Paris Hotel and Municipal House. The Powder Tower is rather tall and challenging for photography. I had to use panoramic technique to create balanced composition.

The Church of St. John the Baptist (Kostel Sv. Jana Křtitele) located on the Praskova Street in the historic center of Opava. The church was founded and governed by the Order of Knights of the Hospital of Saint John of Jerusalem (also known as the Order of Saint John) - a medieval Catholic military order.

Always when I walk around Žižkov´s transmitter, I will look at the sculptures of Climbing Babies from David Černý, which have been climbing the transmitter since 2000.

Today they are not there! I did not even see them with my glasses! I do not know where they are. Somebody stole them? Are they in repair? Did they alive and go away? Did they fall?
Perhaps next time I'm going around, they'll be back ...

They escaped for sure... Beware at night ;)

I saw some of them on Kampa.

These are brothers. Also from David Černý.

I believe they are down for maintenance and will be back at some point.

I just read a news story that says they should be back this month. Which means most likely sometime this year. They have been gone since October and I didn't notice. I'm ashamed.

The Děd Lookout Tower is situated above the town of Beroun at an altitude of 492 meters above sea level. It was built in 1893 from white bricks. It is 12 meters high and has 56 stairs, and thanks to the grown trees the view is limited only towards Kladno. The tower is open all year round.

Another shot from the Chataeu Valtice. The contruction of an extended cellar was complete by the time i visited. There is another extension where a group can hire for parties.
This photo depicts the entrance that joins the old and the new cellar.

Is this where all my drinks will be stored? P.S. tomorrow is #whiskywednesday

Absolutely :)
Happy whisky day my friend. Enjoy some "bourbon" today. It is an American whisky produced from maize 😊

@krakonos is right. Just hours ago I took this photo of the Zizkov TV tower and I did not notice until I read his post that the famous babies are gone. This tower dominates the Prague skyline and I have never seen it without the babies. Hopefully they will find their way home soon.

I've been to Czech quite a number of times and the structure of the buildings excites me every single time..it is like fairytales castles In real life...amazing people amazing culture, but I must confess difficult pronounciations

The bridge "na plášti" or "on the cloak", also called Cloak Bridge connects the castle moat on the western side of the Upper Castle of Český Krumlov. The bridge name is from the fortification called Plášť, which used to protect the western side of the castle Český Krumlov.
Ahoj!

Great entry! Thank you so much for that.

The Cathedral of St. Barbara, patron saint of miners
This unique work of high and late Gothic architecture symbolises the power and importance of the mining city, which is linked to deposits of silver ore. The cathedral is consecrated to none other than the patron saint of all miners, St. Barbara. Construction of this architectural gem took five hundred long years. The appearance of the monumental cathedral is the work of Matyáš Rejsek and Benedikt Ried.
