Belogradchik Fortress

The Belogradchik Fortress, also known as "Kaleto" ("the fortress" from Turkish kale), is an ancient fortress located on the north slopes of the Balkan Mountains.

Prohodna

Prohodna is a karst cave in north central Bulgaria, located in the Iskar Gorge. The cave is known for the two eye-like holes in its ceiling, known as the Eyes of God or Oknata.

Eagle eye

"Eagle Eye" is a platform for observation and tourist attraction in Western Rhodopes.

Cape Kaliakra

Аccording to the legend of this place 40 Bulgarian girls, who preferred to tie their hair together and jump into the Black Sea rather than face the prospect of being captured by the Ottomans. An obelisk dedicated to this legend is placed at the entrance to the cape, called The Gate of the 40 Maidens.

St. Anastasia Island

St. Anastasia Island is a Bulgarian islet in the Black Sea. It is located 1.5 km off the coast near Chernomorets, at 12 metres above sea level, and covers a territory of one hectare. It is the only inhabited island off the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast.

Asen's Fortress

Asen's Fortress , identified by some researchers as Petrich, is a medieval fortress in the Bulgarian Rhodope Mountains, 2–3 km south of the town of Asenovgrad, on a high rocky ridge on the left bank of the Asenitsa River. Asen's Fortress is situated at an elevation of 279 m.

The monument on Shipka

The Shipka Memorial is on Stoletov Peak near the pass, reached by a flight of steps or a short road. It is a memorial to those who died for the Liberation of Bulgaria during the Battles of Shipka Pass in the Russo-Turkish War of 1877-78. An important influence was the Monument to the Battle of the Nations in Germany.
