The Nataraja Temple

Location - Chidambaram , India.

Me along with my family started our journey to Nataraja temple it is in chidambaram, It was a long drive about 200 kilometers, we started early in the morning and reached there at 11am, it was a crucial time temple is busy with pooja after that darshan for lord Nataraja was restricted, we went in hurry to got darshan but there was a big queue to see lord Nataraja anyway within the time span we got darshan and came out, this temple has a vast area and have to darshan of all other lords.

The Nataraja temple was built during the old 10th century by chola dynasity, here The lord Nataraja - Shiva is referred as lord of dance, this temple structure, surviving plan, and architechture is from late 13th and 14th century, There is a secret inside this temple named as chidambara ragasiyam, which will be displayed only at a certain time, i had a luck to see that secret, people who are willing to see that can go and see.

The temple gopurams and some other sculpture works which attracts me to take those pics, We are not allowed to take any photos inside the temple so i took ouside gouprams and sculptures, Here are some of the pics of that temple, have a look at this...
