The fantasyland is just near to the Dakak Beach Resort that has a fine white sand and clear blue waters. It is really a place wherein you can relax and have a break from work, stress and the demands of the world.
Dapitan, truly has a lot of things to offer. It is also where the Philippines’ National Hero lived for months, Jose Rizal. If you did not know him, well he was the one one who led the Filipinos to start a revolution, he wanted to fight for the freedom of Philippines from the Spanish oppressors in his way of writing, using his pen and mind as a weapon and he is a skillful person. He finished studying ophthalmology because his mother became blind and to personally operate her. And according to our history subject, Rizal is a polymath. That means he is both skillful in math and science. He can paint, he can also make sculptures and some woodcarving. He displays his talent in writing novels in his two famous novels out of many more namely, Noli Me Tangere and El Filibusterismo. Besides being a talented poet, he is also an expert in architecture, cartography or the one that is expert in making maps, economics, sociology, martial arts, ethnology, fencing, anthropology, dramatics, and pistol shooting.
His home and his past life can be seen in there. His simple lifestyle can be seen in the antiques that remained in the preserved museum that is now enjoyed by the tourists all over the country, including me.
