That's crazy that they haven't updated the playground equipment. Someone is going to get lockjaw from the rust... haha. I guess they don't build em like they used to... 40 years later and the equipment is still hanging on... it's likely all the lead and asbestos.
Yeah, I went and sat down on the slide and it felt like I was melting to a frying pan. That brought back some memories. The only thing missing was a 15 foot high jungle gym that kids risked their lives on back in the day each time they would climb it!
I give it one thing though.. This equipment is sturdy as hell.
