AS I WALK THROUGH THE TOWN..
Sometimes I go for walks through the town's streets, just looking around without thinking too much about anything. But at the same time, I become aware that I can "see" things around me that others don't, or even see things that others do, but in a different way. And these photos in this post are more or less another demonstration of how I perceive this tiny cluster of interconnected streets. But today, besides observing without thinking and taking photos, a lot of childhood memories also came to mind, from when I was between three and four years old and starting to learn to read (yes, I learned to read very early. After all, my mother was a teacher back then and an avid reader, just as she still is today at 80 years old)... But going back to my childhood memories: Back then, my father used to carry me down the street in his arms and ask me to read the advertising signs we saw along the way, and as an incentive, he would give me a coin. As time went on, in addition to advertising signs, I also started reading aloud the printed T-shirts people were wearing, the headlines of newspapers at newsstands, license plates, and practically anything with letters that passed in front of my eyes while walking down the street with my dad 😂... I think that was one of the first things I learned to look at the streets differently, and it also helped me get tons of coins to buy candy and soda at my school cafeteria! 😂
