As our science know about the origin of the universe, our earth was a burning planet. After a long process its out surface became a vast ocean that you know. And after many thousands of years many type of organism evolved in it. And after a long era a spacious land i mean continent named Pangea aries from the heart heart of great ocean inspired by journey. And now it is ruling as Asia, Europe, Africa, America, Antarctica. In the past when human evolved he lives as monkey and then as a gorilla and then as a human. And developed their knowledge continually. Is it not a journey? I also think it is journey. After being a human they understood the importance of unity and starts living in groups and became more secure they have to travel continuously to survive and completion of their needs. As they travel as their knowledge increases and society and culture come in existence. And human became "civilized human". In the past people have to travel mainly via overland routes. It was too adventurous work or mission because nobody knew what come next. So only few people show "the courage of long journey".
And you know Vasco De gama and Columbus was the world famous traveler of their time. They traveled far away from their country and meet much more stranger, amazing and developed countries like India.
