A Visit To Karanji Lake, Mysore
If you are an animal and nature lover, you are going to love this place. Recently I had visited Mysore which is situated in India. I badly wanted to go to the bird sanctuary here, but since we were running short of time, we decided to go to Karanji Lake itself. It is one of the most beautiful and well-maintained tourist spots. The place contains varieties of flowers, a lake with boating facility, free bicycle for ride, a small play-area for kids, peacocks and a lot more.

With minimal ticket rates, this place is a delight for everyone. This is the nearest I have been to peacocks! They literally walk right beside you and if you get lucky or are bold enough, you can touch them as well! The place has white peacocks as well!
There are so many peacocks just walking around along with different breeds of hens and cocks which I had never seen in my life. Their colors were so beautiful that I couldn't resist capturing the most unique ones.
The place also has a well maintained lake where you can go boating.

Apart from this there are many varieties of plants and flowers all across the place. You can go for a walk or take a bicycle and go around the entire place. Highly recommended for a peaceful time and to be amidst nature! I loved this place and if I ever visit Mysuru again, this place will be on my list again!

Hey... Before visiting any city, I search the places of attraction in that place and shortlist the ones that I want to visit. ☺

Well, unfortunately Bangalore doesn't have a lot of tourist places. Some of my suggestions are : Nandi Hills, Vineyard for wine making and wine tasting session, lalbagh, cubbon park for cycling, sankey tank, dodda alada mara, avelabetta peak, filmcity, bannerghatta national park, hogenakkal falls, horsley hills, savandurga, ramnagar, chikmangalur, antargange, folk art musuem, chunchi falls etc.
