Visit to the Model of the City of Camagüey

This summer I set myself a goal that perhaps I should have accomplished earlier: to teach my daughter to love her province, the place where she was born. It is not enough to tell her "this is Camagüey" as we pass through its streets; I believe it is better to show her its depths, tell her its stories, and make her feet tread the same cobblestones that have witnessed entire generations. That is why, when I decided to take her to the Model of the City, I knew it was not a simple tourist visit; it was a journey to the heart of our identity.
