RE: Prague/Czech Republic - Monday photo challenge - share your personal pictures from your visit to the Czech Republic!
The Charles Bridge is a must see tourist attraction. It is a stone gothic bridge over the Vitava River which connects the Old Town to the Lesser Town. It was commissioned by King Charles IV in the 14th century. It is about 600 metres across and there is no vehicular access. There are 30 baroque type statues on the bridge depicting saints and patron saints. I understand they are replicas with the originals displayed d elsewhere. Also plenty of very musicians and artists. It does get very crowded but well worth the experience.
