Chios is also a beautiful island, hope to visit some day!
Crete has a lot to offer in terms of every aspect. Beaches, Gorges, Monasteries, Cultural Landmarks so it is definitely a worth to visit island.
I hope you make it to visit Heraklion some time soon :)
