Explore the World: Beautiful Zaanse Schans in Netherlands

It was almost unimaginable to experience the surrounding of such beautiful and peaceful place. Before that, I was browsing the town through images from the web, but being there was a different story. Zaanse Schans, being a neighbourhood of Zaandam, near Zaandijk in the Netherlands. It has a collection of well-preserved historic windmills and houses, a great spot for a new visitor like me to see the heritage.

You can see people riding on horses! It was a rare phenomenon in my country. Plus, the horses looked rugged and cool!
