Buffalo in South Dakota

When we were in South Dakota we came across this road with wild buffalo all over. It took us about an hour to drive mile due to the large population of buffalo roaming free. All I wanted to do was go pet one. I probably would have if it wasn't for all the signes saying to stay in your car as they can be very aggressive animals. I guess it's a good thing I didn't.
