@laurensk I was able to travel around Dhaka but I couldn't get very far because of the traffic and time constraints. I haven't heard about the shipyards, what's the story there?

Many shipping companies dump their old ships at the shores of Bangladesh. If you move around the bay you should be able to see them. Many people from Dhaka work there. Very dangerous though. A while back it was in a documentary.
