Tourism Ireland has created a new Game of Thrones video to coincide with the launch of season 6. The video shows fans exploring some of the incredible Northern Ireland filming locations seen on HBO’s smash TV show, and the immersive activities visitors can do there.

Northern Ireland is called Game of Thrones Territory for good reason. It’s been one of the show’s main filming locations since 2011, and is home to iconic locations like Castle Black, Winterfell and the Haunted Forest, to name three. In the past few years, fans have been coming to Northern Ireland in droves to explore these incredible locations and take part in the experiences available there.As well as capturing these atmospheric locations, the new video depicts the activities fans can take part in, including archery, meeting direwolves, sailing and donning attire seen on the show.The 82-second video is now on YouTube and available to share online and across social media, where there has been considerable Game of Thrones chatter in recent months and which is likely to trend as new episodes air.Fast facts:
