Luxury Condo. Wave Pool. Game Room. These were the highlights of our Azure Urban Resort Staycation last July.

My kids always choose to go swimming when they know someone's birthday is coming up. For my daughter's birthday we visited Pico De Loro in Batangas. Azure Urban Resort was a much more budget-friendly option in comparison.

We arrived just in time for our 2PM Check-in at Tropez building located behind the amenities. The caretaker met us at the lobby and in 10 minutes we were settled in and I prepared a small snack celebration for my son's birthday before we hit the pool.

The condo had a small kitchen with a single burner, small rice cooker,refrigerator, and a microwave. Much easier to bring food than cook in a small kitchen SO within minutes taa-daaan! FOOD!

My son had requested a Spiderman cake and I was a lucky mom to find one at the last minute! It was small but he didn't mind. To a child all Spiderman cakes look all the same.

We hit the pools after eating and paid the Php250 per person fee to use the amenities for half a day. Good thing the room we rented came with 2 free passes. The owner and caretaker were kind to let us use these passes both on the day of our check-in and check-out.

The waves at The Azure Beach were on every 15 minutes starting at 4PM until 5:30PM when we were there.

Kiddos had so much fun!

The downside was that the children's pool playground with the kiddie slide was closed when we visited. We inquired about it and they said it would be available the week after our stay. Best inquire with the caretaker or unit owner before your visit to be sure.

The Azure Beach has a restaurant/bar right beside it. Menu prices ranged from 200-500.

The pool closed promptly at 6PM and we went back to our room for the night to get ready for movie night or the game room. It rained so hard we stayed instead and enjoyed the 50 inch LED TV in our room.

The next day we went for a quick morning swim (paid another half day fee) then spent some time enjoying the amenities at the Paris Beach Club which includes the kids playroom,the game room, and movie room. Somebody had beat us to the reservation for the movie room so make sure you reserve a slot immediately when you arrive for your stay.

My kids liked the kiddie sized toilet and the giant tree in the kids playroom. We also played air hockey at the massive game room but we didn't have enough time to play video games.

Our stay at Azure was a short one but my son says he loved having his birthday there and that he wants to come back soon.
