I was scared by the presence of migrants in Athens, I have a post about it. Otherwise, I did not see the crisis. Very calm and cheerful country. Nice prices on hotels and meals. And of course the beauty of nature allows us not to notice the small problems that exist here, as in any other country.

What would you say scared you the most about the migrants? In your post you mention seeing some and that they looked dejected. Wanting to work, but not being able to obtain it. Did that mean they were homeless, basically out on the streets, and how many were there? And from where? In the US, we have people coming in from all over, but the ones who tend to come in the most are coming from Mexico and points south.

The locals of Athens told me that there are a lot of migrants. There are only a few expensive streets where there are none. The streets where they live are not clean, there are not lights, they stand in groups and see you. I was scared. I think that migrants cannot get a good job and have to do everything to survive...
