Mountain landscapes in Austria

From time to time I visit the Austrian Alps for some hiking and landscape photography. It is always an amazing experience and the landscapes there are some times very amazing. Depending on the weather that can change pretty fast in the mountains it can be more or less a very wonderful experience. I have to admit that most of the time when I was hiking in the Alps I had very much luck with the weather and I could take some really nice Pictures from up there in the mountains.

The first picture I show you here is probably one of my favorite mountain pictures of all times. The old mand with the red coat watching the fog to dissapear to realease the view to the Grossglockner. The water reservoirs of the Kaprun Power plant is really amazing and the color of the water is incredibly beautiful depending on the sun and light situation. In this first picture the sun just came out behind the clouds and the fog started to fade away very quickly.
