OK, this is a quick one. Bratislava is my hometown and I love waling in the historical city center and the banks of the river Danube. The castle in Bratislava is older than 1,000 and remembers a lot. A few years ago, they renovated it, painted white and it become the highlight on the skyline in the city. You can see it from far away when you are coming to Bratislava either from Hungary or Austria. It feels like I'm at home every time when I can see it. ⠀

The castle is a must see when you are visiting Bratislava. It's only 10-15 minutes of walking from the historical city center, so you really don't have a reason to not to. You can walk either on your own, join the free city tour or get a ride with a historical bus called Presporacik.
