Travel Diary: Mountain View // Day - Sunset - Night

I always had this dream of falling asleep and waking up on a cozy cloud with a view over the world and I have to say right now in this moment I am closest to that feeling. 

As I'm sitting on my hotel's comfy bed, writing this blogpost, I look up and I see the most stunning sunset over Barcelona from on top of the 

TIBIDABO  MOUNTAIN

I've said this multiple times and the last few days have proven to me once again, that our environment matters and that our surrounding effects us, the way we work, the way we feel and our overall state of living and breathing. 

We know humans are part of nature, and yet we accept that we've been "separated at birth" from nature. Our lives feel busy, we suffer from a common disease known as stress and sometimes spend months, or even years disconnected from the real world, nature.

The strong difference between being in the city and being on a mountain I felt right on my chest, as a sense of relief rushed through my body when we arrived. In general I cannot stress enough how important it is to rejuvenate and constantly reconnect with our origin. 

The moon already looked pretty decent from the city, at least that's what I thought and displayed in my last Barcelona travel post.

But the view in comparison to the view from one of our rooms on the mountain...

And at Night...

I don't know what it is about this mountain, but every day we were here and even the last time in Barcelona there was a full moon. On a foggy day, like it was yesterday the clouds over the city take on the most beautiful colors during sunset and the moon shines brighter than usual. 

With this view you can feel serenity being a whole lot closer to you.
