My visit to the Grand Canyon
On my trip to the United States in October 2014, I had the opportunity to visit the Grand Canyon National Park, located in the state of Arizona. This site was declared in 1979 world heritage, for its history, geography, ecosystem and additionally, for being one of the natural wonders of the world.

Its majesty, structure (40 layers of different rocks), extension (length: 446 km width: varies from 6 km to 29 km) and depth (more than 1600 meters) are impressive and even more so when you know that this natural spectacle dates back approximately 2000 million years ago.
As you can see, the Grand Canyon is made up of mountains of rock layers, originated through the erosive process caused by the Colorado River during millions of years. Each layer has a characteristic color influenced by its geological age of formation and hence this site is a visual spectacle.
However, in addition to its history, the Grand Canyon is characterized for being a site of high energetic level and of great significance for the Native American tribes that have inhabited the region for centuries.
I recommend you visit this natural wonder that is not only beautiful, it is also ideal to raise our energy, reestablish our contact with Mother Earth, find a space of peace and thus enrich the soul and spirit.
